The Edmonds (5-3) beat the Big Bend (1-5) 5-4 in seven innings on Tuesday at Triton Field behind KamrynMae Kanae, who had two extra base hits.
He doubled in the fourth inning.Madison Budnick recorded his first win of the year for the Edmonds. He allowed two runs over three innings. Budnick struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.
Olivia Harrison couldn't get it done on the hill for the Big Bend, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
The Edmonds were sparked by Kanae and Bailee Senner, who teamed up for three hits and two RBIs.
