Parker's walk-off single send the Yakima Valley home winners, 4-3

A walk-off single from Tanner Parker brought home the winning run for the Yakima Valley (5-2) in a 4-3 victory over the SW Oregon in 12 innings at Parker Field on Sunday.

Parker was solid at the plate for the Yakima Valley. Parker went 3-6. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth and twelfth innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Yakima Valley's Connor Anderson. Anderson went 2-5 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jorge Garcilazo pitched lights out for the Yakima Valley. Garcilazo held the SW Oregon (2-6) hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Parker Depasquale improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Yakima Valley. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Davis Carlsen ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
