Shevan DeFreitas came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as DeFreitas reached on a in the one to lead the SW Oregon (5-2) to a 15-4 win over the Treasure Valley (2-6) on Saturday at Heinz/Ore-Ida Regional Softball.

Eleven runs in the opening three innings allowed the SW Oregon to easily put away the Treasure Valley. An error, , and a three-run double by Caitlyn Messman in the first inning and a two-run home run by DeFreitas during the second inning supplied the early offense for the SW Oregon.

DeFreitas got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Francesca Rodriquez couldn't get it done on the hill for the Treasure Valley, taking a loss. He allowed 11 runs in three innings, walked seven and struck out two.

The SW Oregon hammered the Treasure Valley pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 12 hits, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
