Bailee Mills came up big at the dish and on the bump, leading the Treasure Valley (2-6) to a 3-2 win over the Chemeketa on Saturday.

Mills racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Treasure Valley. He homered in the fifth inning.

Mills got the win for the Treasure Valley thanks to nine strikeouts. Mills allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks over seven innings.

Aiyana Aipia had two extra-base hits for the Chemeketa (3-1). He doubled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Megan Henshaw (1-1) took the loss for the Chemeketa. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
