The Seacoast Mavericks (9-5) beat the North Shore Navigators (1-12) 6-1 on Friday at Leary Field behind Kyle Pangallo, who had two extra base hits.

Mitchell Powers pitched lights out for the Seacoast Mavericks. The North Shore Navigators managed just two hits off of the the Seacoast Mavericks' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Clay Yianacopolus pitched lights out for the North Shore Navigators. Yianacopolus held the Seacoast Mavericks hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Richie Cruz was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.

The Seacoast Mavericks were sparked by Jacob Lebel and Pangallo, who teamed up for three hits and five RBIs.
