Jake Farrell went 2-4, sparking the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (9-13) to a 10-7 victory over the Brockton Rox (11-12) on Monday at Campanelli Stadium.

Fernando Burgos improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.
Jake Hamilton ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
