The Treasure Valley (3-6) and the Chemeketa (3-4) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Treasure Valley that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-4 win at Heinz/Ore-Ida Regional Softball.

Kenzie Barrera racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Treasure Valley. He tripled in the sixth inning.

The Chemeketa were led by Sarah Wyatt's hitting. Wyatt went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning.

Jordan Hansen improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Treasure Valley. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered five hits.

Lindsay Hill ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked nine, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
