The Bellevue (5-1) jumped out to an early lead on the Grays Harbor (0-5) and captured a 9-0 victory on Sunday at RAC - Lacey.
The game was decided quickly as the Bellevue exerted their will early with six runs in the first three innings.
A groundout by Payton Gibbs in the first inning and an RBI single by Leticia Farias, an RBI single by Cierra Barkis, and an error during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Bellevue.Becca Fortney racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bellevue. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Rayne Sylvester brought the heat against the Grays Harbor during his outing. Sylvester held the Grays Harbor hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
