Sunday was a great day for Nick Rau, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Top Speed Baseball (31-2) to a 9-6 victory over the South Bay Storm (18-14) at CSU East Bay.
Connor Martin had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings and singled in the seventh inning.
RJ Hanson had an impressive outing against the Top Speed Baseball's lineup. Hanson gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.
Mario Morales improved to 5-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Top Speed Baseball. He allowed four runs over six innings. Morales struck out five, walked one and gave up seven hits.
Clayton Nodal (2-2) took the loss for the South Bay Storm. He allowed nine runs in six innings, walked two and struck out two.
