Both the Pierce (18-19) and the Highline (7-23) put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was the Pierce that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 7-6 win at Heritage Recreation Center.
Emily Bishop got a hit in each of his two at bats. He singled in the third and seventh innings.
Megan Chan had two extra-base hits for the Highline. He tripled in the first and fourth innings and singled in the sixth inning.
Anna Lennox got his tenth win for the Pierce despite allowing six runs over seven innings. Lennox struck out two, walked none and gave up 12 hits.
Stefani Gollin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out one.
