The Pierce (8-14) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-3 to the Highline (4-12) on Wednesday.

While the Pierce led until the eighth inning, the Highline worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Taylor Poe.

Poe racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Highline. He tripled in the fourth and sixth innings and singled in the eighth inning.

Stefani Gollin recorded his second win of the year for the Highline. He allowed three runs over eight innings. Gollin struck out two, walked none and gave up 10 hits.

Anna Lennox (2-2) took the loss for the Pierce. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
