The Pierce (7-12) beat the Clackamas (15-3) 7-4 in seven innings on Saturday at Clackamas Community College Sof behind Kailey Nobriga, who had two extra base hits.
He doubled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.Kylie Gonzales blasted two home runs for the Clackamas. Gonzales went 2-4 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Gonzales homered in the fourth and sixth innings.
Anna Lennox improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Pierce. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered seven hits.
Emily Marchbanks (8-1) took the loss for the Clackamas. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
The Pierce were sparked by Kailie Alama and McKenna Gagner, who teamed up for five hits and six RBIs.
