The SW Oregon (9-20) blew out the Linfield JV 14-7 on Sunday at Linfield after pouring on eight runs in the seventh inning.

The SW Oregon scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Justin Bennett, a double by Logan Nousen, , , a hit by pitch, a hit by pitch, , an RBI double by Tielar Murray, a sacrifice fly by Bennett, and a sacrifice fly by Sam Mitchell.

Mitchell did his best to jumpstart the offense for the SW Oregon, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had two RBIs.

Dakota Nelson had an impressive outing against the Linfield JV's lineup. The Linfield JV managed just one hit off of the the SW Oregon's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Fox was solid at the plate for the Linfield JV. Fox went 1-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Christian Greenan got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Greenan struck out none, walked two and gave up two hits.

Strang took the loss for the Linfield JV. He allowed 14 runs in nine innings, walked 11 and struck out seven.
