The Atwater Aviators (5-7) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-2 to the Central Valley Storm on Saturday.

While the Atwater Aviators led until the fourth inning, the Central Valley Storm worked their way back and took the lead when Sharpe was hit by a pitch.

Mcgrath kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Atwater Aviators batters. Mcgrath allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks over five innings.

Ian Hussian (0-1) took the loss for the Atwater Aviators. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed one run.
