An impressive effort by Kayla Andrews lifted the Columbia Basin (3-0) to a 16-0 win in five innings over the Grays Harbor (0-4) on Sunday at CBC Softball Field.

Andrews rocked the Grays Harbor with two home runs. Andrews went 2-4 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Andrews homered in the fourth and fourth innings.

The offense exploded for the the Columbia Basin in the fourth. In the inning the Columbia Basin scored 10 runs. The Columbia Basin scored in the fourth on a solo home run by Andrews, an RBI single by Keondra Simpson, , an RBI triple by Maddy Jones, a triple by Jones, a home run by Andrews, and an RBI double by Simpson.

Andrews pitched lights out for the Columbia Basin. The Grays Harbor managed just one hit off of Andrews, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out eight during his five innings of work.

Alyssa Satteson (0-3) took the loss for the Grays Harbor. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.
