Shayla Baker was strong at the plate and on the bump in carrying the Big Bend (1-3) to a 6-1 victory over the Pierce on Sunday.

Baker racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Big Bend. He singled in the second and sixth innings.

Baker picked up the win for the Big Bend. Baker allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Jessilyn Enlow (1-1) took the loss for the Pierce (2-3). He allowed six runs in six innings, walked five and struck out two.
