Suzanna Lubanski went 2-3, sparking the Columbia Basin (12-4) to a 2-0 victory in seven innings over the Pierce (6-6) on Saturday at Columbia Playfields.
He singled in the fourth and fifth innings.Kayla Andrews had an impressive outing against the Pierce's lineup. The Pierce managed just one hit off of Andrews, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out seven during his three innings of work.
Bailee Bradley was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Columbia Basin batters and allowing two runs.
Bradley (0-2) took the loss for the Pierce.
