The Bellevue (12-3) shut the door early on the Chemeketa (5-9), capturing a 10-2 victory on Saturday at Bellevue College- Softball Fiel.

Six runs in the first three innings allowed the Bellevue to put the game away early.

A three-run home run by Rayne Sylvester in the first inning and a solo home run by Brianna Attwood during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Bellevue.

Alex Boyd racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Bellevue. He homered in the third inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

Payton Gibbs improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Bellevue. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered six hits.

McKenna Culpepper (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked none and struck out four.
