Lawrence leads the Falmouth Commodores to 12-3 win over the Wareham Gatemen

Tyler Lawrence hit two home runs to carry the Falmouth Commodores (17-11) to a 12-3 win over the Wareham Gatemen (12-13) at Arnie Allen Diamond.

The Falmouth Commodores blew out the Wareham Gatemen thanks to 16 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Falmouth Commodores scored five runs in the fourth on the Falmouth Commodores scored in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Deacon Liput, an RBI double by JJ Matijevic, a groundout by Joshua Watson, a double by Trevor Larnach, and a solo home run by Lawrence.

Cole Freeman did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Wareham Gatemen, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first and second innings.

Dalton Horton ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

The Falmouth Commodores' Larnach, Lawrence, Matijevic and Michael Gigliotti combined for 10 hits and eight RBIs.
