Konnor Pilkington kept the Cotuit Kettleers (7-17) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Brewster Whitecaps (11-14) beat the Cotuit Kettleers, 5-0.

Pilkington struck out five and allowed two walks and four hits.

Matt Davis racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Brewster Whitecaps. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

The Brewster Whitecaps had no answer for Jared Padgett, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Brewster Whitecaps managed just one hit off of Padgett, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Jason Bilous was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
