Quinn Brodey went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Cotuit Kettleers (7-16) to a 5-1 victory over the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (10-13) on Wednesday at Lowell Park.

Jared Padgett pitched lights out for the Cotuit Kettleers. Padgett held the Hyannis Harbor Hawks hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Zach Rutherford paced the Hyannis Harbor Hawks at the plate. Rutherford went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Eddie Muhl improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Cotuit Kettleers. Muhl struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Alex Eubanks (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
