The Cotuit Kettleers (5-15) and the Falmouth Commodores (10-10) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Cotuit Kettleers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 9-4 win at Lowell Park.

Clay Fisher racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Cotuit Kettleers. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.

The Falmouth Commodores couldn't get anything going as long as J. Connor Simmons was pitching. The Falmouth Commodores managed just one hit off of Connor Simmons, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Matt Duce had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Thomas Ponticelli was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
