The Palm Beach Xtreme (24-12) and the Phipps Park Barracudas (12-18) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Palm Beach Xtreme that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-4 win at Forest Hill.
Connor Rowland boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Palm Beach Xtreme. He doubled in the first innings and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.
Max Tannenbaum had an impressive outing against the Phipps Park Barracudas' lineup. The Phipps Park Barracudas managed just two hits off of the the Palm Beach Xtreme's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.
Guy Casaceli was solid at the plate for the Phipps Park Barracudas. Casaceli went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.
Joey Calamita (1-3) took the loss for the Phipps Park Barracudas. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
