Keisy Portorreal kept the South Florida Huskies (5-13) off the board during his six innings of work and the Palm Beach Xtreme (17-9) beat the South Florida Huskies, 11-0.
Portorreal struck out three and allowed no walks and four hits.
Seven runs in the first three innings helped the Palm Beach Xtreme blow out the South Florida Huskies. A three-run home run by Claudio Rubiera during the first inning and an error, a sacrifice fly by Domenic Baldino, and a two-run double by Max Tannenbaum in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Palm Beach Xtreme.
Connor Rowland had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and fifth innings and singled in the seventh inning.
Christian Cuba (0-2) took the loss for the South Florida Huskies. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked three and struck out four.
The Palm Beach Xtreme's Rubiera, Chris Busch and Rowland combined for seven hits and six RBIs.
