Michael Matter had three RBIs as the Florida Pokers (14-11) took home a 9-7 victory over the Palm Beach Xtreme (18-10) at Spanish River High School on Monday.

The Palm Beach Xtreme were led by a flawless day at the dish by Evan Schaffner, who went 3-3 against the Florida Pokers' pitching. He singled in the first, fifth, and ninth innings.

Even though Karl Hirsch allowed seven runs over nine innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered 12 hits.

Davis Fouts couldn't get it done on the mound for the Palm Beach Xtreme, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
