Friday was a great day for Keisy Portorreal, as Portorreal threw a shutout to carry the Palm Beach Xtreme (13-9) to a 2-0 victory over the Delray Beach Lightning (11-9) at Miller Park.

Portorreal struck out 11 hitters en route to the the Palm Beach Xtreme win. The Palm Beach Xtreme's pitcher tossed nine innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Jaime Johnson (0-3) took the loss for the Delray Beach Lightning. He lasted just eight innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
