Garrett Strom went 1-1 as the Coral Springs Royals (3-3) took home a 3-0 victory over the West Palm Beach Sharks (0-4) in seven innings at Coral Glades Sportsplex on Saturday.

The West Palm Beach Sharks couldn't get anything going as long as Ricky Miranda was pitching. The West Palm Beach Sharks managed just three hits off of the the Coral Springs Royals' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Alex Monge-Rodriguez went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the West Palm Beach Sharks. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Andres Fernandez couldn't get it done on the hill for the West Palm Beach Sharks, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
