Two pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter for the Delray Beach Lightning (5-2) in a 4-0 victory in three innings over the West Boca Snappers (4-3) on Saturday at Miller Park.
Chris Jordan and Dave Egeland tallied no strikeouts and walked none in completing the no-no.The Delray Beach Lightning scored three runs in the first inning to build an early lead. The Delray Beach Lightning scored in the first on an RBI single by Christian Garabedian and a two-run double by Brendan McKendry.
The West Boca Snappers' lineup had no answer for Jordan. Jordan held the West Boca Snappers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
