A great effort by Michael Koltak hoisted the Boca Raton Blazers (13-12) to a 12-2 win over the West Boca Snappers (12-18) on Monday at Burt Aaronson Park.

Koltak got the win for the Boca Raton Blazers thanks to 10 strikeouts. Koltak allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over nine innings.

The Boca Raton Blazers blew out the West Boca Snappers thanks to 13 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Boca Raton Blazers scored five runs in the third on the Boca Raton Blazers scored in the third on a three-run single by Yoni Rodriguez, a double by Nick DiLeo, and a solo home run by JJ Woodard.

Woodard went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Boca Raton Blazers.

Trey Johnson (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out two.
