The Pompano Beach Clippers scored in the fifth on a solo home run by Kyle Simon, an RBI single by Andrew Autrey, an RBI single by Autrey, an RBI single by Ryan Erickson, and a two-run single by J.P. Sorma.
Simon put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Pompano Beach Clippers.
Ed Suri boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the West Boca Snappers (11-13). He singled in the second and fifth innings.
Matt Marini got the win, running his season record to 1-2. Marini struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.
Robert Mauti (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
