The South Bay Storm fall 16-6 at the hands of the Sacramento Heat

The South Bay Storm (22-17) didn't have a chance on Saturday, as the Sacramento Heat (13-25) won in blowout fashion, 16-6 at CSU East Bay.

An RBI double by Miles Haddad and a three-run home run by Blake Edmonson helped the Sacramento Heat score four runs in the sixth. The Sacramento Heat had three hits in the inning.

Guillermo Salazar got on base four times in the game for the Sacramento Heat. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

Dylan Yamasaki led the South Bay Storm's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third and fourth innings.

Even though Chris Sardo allowed six runs over nine innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. He struck out two, walked five and surrendered 11 hits.

Jeramy Albert ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked four and struck out two.
