Jose Barraza collected three hits, helping the Lake Erie Crushers (17-19) to a 10-7 victory over the Joliet Slammers (22-16) on Saturday at Silver Cross Field.
He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.Boo Vazquez racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Joliet Slammers. He singled in the first inning and homered in the ninth inning.
Mike Devine recorded his fifth win of the year for the Lake Erie Crushers. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered seven hits.
Shane Bryant couldn't get it done on the bump for the Joliet Slammers, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.
