A magnificent effort by Jared Koenig spurred the San Francisco Seagulls (31-18) to a 2-0 win over the South Bay Storm (24-24) on Friday at Canada College.

Koenig held the South Bay Storm scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on five hits while striking out eight.

Connor Taylor was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
