Ryan Whitt hit two home runs, sparking the Top Speed Baseball (39-4) to a 7-2 victory over the San Francisco Seagulls (27-16) on Wednesday at Fairmont Field.
He homered in the first and second innings.David Langer paced the San Francisco Seagulls at the plate. Langer went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.
Bret Bowyer improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Top Speed Baseball. He allowed one run over three innings. Bowyer struck out four, walked none and gave up four hits.
Kyle Basch (0-3) took the loss for the San Francisco Seagulls. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
The Top Speed Baseball were sparked by Whitt and Matthew Martinez, who teamed up for five hits and five RBIs.
