An excellent effort by Jared Koenig carried the San Francisco Seagulls (9-6) to a 2-0 win in seven innings over the Top Speed Baseball (13-1) on Saturday at Fairmont Field.

The San Francisco Seagulls got the win thanks in large part to Koenig's dominant, 13-strikeout performance. The San Francisco Seagulls' pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.

Juan Reina paced the San Francisco Seagulls at the plate. Reina went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the first inning.

Daniel Lerma couldn't get it done on the bump for the Top Speed Baseball, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
