The San Francisco Seagulls outdone by Bothwell and the West Coast Kings, 7-4

Story by Narrative Science.

VJ Bothwell drove in three runs as the West Coast Kings took home a 7-4 victory over the San Francisco Seagulls (4-2) at Fairmont Field on Wednesday.

He singled in the first and eighth innings and tripled in the ninth innings.

The San Francisco Seagulls couldn't get anything going as long as Alex Alexander was pitching. Alexander held the San Francisco Seagulls hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out seven.

Dominic Giuliani put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He tripled in the seventh and ninth innings.

Kyle Basch ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
