The Oregon Lumberjacks make the most of 8 hits in 8-4 victory over the Manitoba North Stars

The Oregon Lumberjacks (6-5) and the Manitoba North Stars (8-3) both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Oregon Lumberjacks that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-4 win at Palm Springs Stadium.

Jordan Runcie-Hubbard went a perfect 4-4 at the dish for the Oregon Lumberjacks. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings and tripled in the seventh inning.

Victor Barron racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Manitoba North Stars. He homered in the seventh inning.

Scotty Ward recorded his third win of the year for the Oregon Lumberjacks. He allowed two runs over five innings. Ward struck out two, walked one and gave up six hits.

Dakota Freese was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked five and struck out six.
