The Herndon Braves make the most of 7 hits in 7-5 victory over the D.C. Grays

The Herndon Braves (16-18) and the D.C. Grays (10-23) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Herndon Braves capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-5 win at Herndon High School.

Evan Alderman led the Herndon Braves' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He tripled in the third inning.

Tyler Thomas had a hot bat for the D.C. Grays. Thomas went 4-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Reid Frazier got the win, running his season record to 4-2. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Zach McCrum couldn't get it done on the hill for the D.C. Grays, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed no runs.
