A walk-off error from Pat Hisle brought home the winning run for the Gaithersburg Giants (11-12) in a 6-5 victory over the Herndon Braves (11-13) at Criswell Automotive Field on Sunday.
Trey Bridis did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Gaithersburg Giants, reaching base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.
Adam Neveski got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Cayden Stover (0-1) took the loss for the Herndon Braves. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
