The SS-T T Bolts (13-10) had a tough outing on Friday, as the Baltimore Redbirds (16-5) dominated in an 11-4 win at Calvert Hall HS.
An RBI single by Cameron Simmons and a three-run home run by Kyle Datres helped the Baltimore Redbirds score four runs in the third. The Baltimore Redbirds had four hits in the inning.
Ryan Karstetter racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Baltimore Redbirds. He singled in the second and third innings, homered in the fifth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.
Tyler Schmitt pitched lights out for the Baltimore Redbirds. Schmitt held the SS-T T Bolts hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Nick Cieri was hot from the plate for the SS-T T Bolts. Cieri went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.
Dallas Woolfolk recorded his second win of the year for the Baltimore Redbirds. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered eight hits.
Andy Rozylowicz was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked two and struck out two.
