Dalton Beatty had two extra base hits, helping the Atwater Aviators (20-20) to a 3-2 victory over the California Bees (12-24) on Saturday at Fireman's Memorial Ballpark.

Max Gordon boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the California Bees. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Garrett Bryhni improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Atwater Aviators. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

Matt McDonald (2-3) took the loss for the California Bees. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
