The Oregon Lumberjacks were led by a flawless day at the dish by Taren Tani, who went 2-2 against the Palm Springs Power's pitching. He singled in the fifth and sixth innings.
The Palm Springs Power were led by Jordan Brower's hitting. Brower went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.
Scotty Ward improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Oregon Lumberjacks. He allowed two runs over four innings. Ward struck out three, walked none and gave up three hits.
Nick Grim (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out four.
