It took 10 innings, but the Edmonton Prospects (11-14) managed to put away the Brooks Bombers (6-20) 5-4 on Monday at Elks Stadium.

Scammell did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Edmonton Prospects, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
The Brooks Bombers couldn't get anything going so long as Nick Hynes was on the hill. Hynes held the Brooks Bombers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Despite the loss, the Brooks Bombers' Jordan Hackett dominated the Edmonton Prospects' batters, giving up three runs and striking out 11.
Larry Romero ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed one run.
