The Brooks Bombers make the most of 5 hits in 6-3 victory over the Lethbridge Bulls

The Brooks Bombers (5-16) and the Lethbridge Bulls (14-9) each put runners in scoring position on Monday, but the Brooks Bombers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-3 win at Elks Stadium.

It was a good day at the plate for the Brooks Bombers' Tony Tabor. Tabor went 3-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Mike Moffatt was solid at the plate for the Lethbridge Bulls. Moffatt went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Nick Stobbe got the win, running his season record to 2-3. He allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered six hits.

Pat Kelley ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
