The Moose Jaw Miller Express (4-15) didn't stand a chance on Wednesday, as the Regina Red Sox (9-5) captured a blowout 9-2 win at Currie Field.

The Regina Red Sox scored three runs in the fifth on the Regina Red Sox scored in the fifth on a solo home run by Jake Howard, a sacrifice fly by Will Frei, and an RBI double by Justin Erlandson.

Howard had three extra-base hits for the Regina Red Sox.

Adam Prashad picked up the win for the Regina Red Sox. Prashad allowed two earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Jesse Marks (0-2) took the loss for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked none and struck out two.

Derek Slate, Howard, Korbin Polston and Erlandson helped lead the Regina Red Sox. They combined for 11 hits and seven RBIs.
