William Salas collected three hits, sparking the Medicine Hat Mavericks (10-2) to a 9-6 victory over the Brooks Bombers (1-9) on Tuesday at Athletic Park.

He singled in the first and fifth innings and tripled in the seventh inning.

The Medicine Hat Mavericks relied on Jared Libke to eat up innings en route to the win. Libke pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out three.

Justin Mitchell racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Brooks Bombers. He singled in the first and eighth innings.

Zachary Campagne ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
