The Alexandria Aces (4-1) blew out the Vienna River Dogs (3-3) 11-5 on Saturday at Frank Mann Field after pouring on seven runs in the fourth inning.

The Alexandria Aces scored in the fourth on a two-run single by Ted Leathersich, an RBI double by Christian Adorno, a fielder's choice, a wild pitch, a two-run double by AJ Spencer, and a two-run double by Spencer.

Spencer racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Alexandria Aces.

Micah Kaczor got the win for the Alexandria Aces thanks to three strikeouts. Kaczor allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over five innings.

Jordan Sergent was solid at the plate for the Vienna River Dogs. Sergent went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the first, seventh, and ninth innings.

Nick Beaulac (0-1) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed one run.
