The Alberta Grizzly (5-4) took down the Palm Springs Chill (5-3) 11-3 on Monday at Palm Springs Stadium after slamming the Palm Springs Chill with 11 runs in the fifth inning.

The Alberta Grizzly scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Kyle Adie, an RBI single by Brian Fay, a two-run triple by Derek Hasenbeck, an RBI double by Adam Picard, an RBI single by Brett Huffman, a hit by pitch, a hit by pitch, , and a two-run error.

Hasenbeck racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alberta Grizzly.

Will Gerhard brought the heat against the Palm Springs Chill during his outing. The Palm Springs Chill managed just three hits off of Gerhard, who allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out five during his five innings of work.
