Darius Washington went 2-2, helping the Manitoba North Stars (3-1) to a 3-0 victory over the Midwest Haymakers (1-4) on Wednesday at Palm Springs Stadium.

Jake Pintar struck out six hitters en route to the the Manitoba North Stars win. The Manitoba North Stars' pitcher tossed three innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

The Manitoba North Stars had no answer for Alex Williams, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Manitoba North Stars managed just two hits off of Williams, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Zachary Zebrosky (0-1) took the loss for the Midwest Haymakers. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
