Marcus Blackmon Jr went 1-2, sparking the Toronto Rush (3-3) to a 3-1 victory in seven innings over the Oregon Lumberjacks (2-4) on Wednesday at Palm Springs Turf Field.

The Oregon Lumberjacks' lineup had no answer for Kyle Kennett. The Oregon Lumberjacks managed just two hits off of the the Toronto Rush's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

A bright spot for the Oregon Lumberjacks in the defeat was Clayton Crum, who allowed only one run while striking out six.

Alex Brosnan improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Toronto Rush. Brosnan struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Alex Miden (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
